First thing I always notice is the staff, and the staff here was very friendly, even though they were a little busy. I had one of their muffins (banana chip) and it was very moist and delicious, tastes like it was made fresh this morning. They are a small establishment, but they are very organized.
Try the avocado BLT! Refreshing ,healthy take on an American classic . If you like , switch the bread to an everything bagel .
I had it for the first time this past weekend and it was so good. I usually to go Jessen's but this one is better. It was about 8-9 when my husband and I got there and it was decently busy. The staff was nice and on top of everything. It's a small place but definitely, but they have a few tables so you can sit on the inside. We both got everything bagels but I got mine with halva cream cheese and my husband got his toasted with plain cream cheese. I got a hungry man, which was so good. The bread was so soft. My husband got an egg sandwich on a roll. His looked good as well. For two sandwiches, bagels with cream cheese, and two drinks it came out to about $33. I will definitely be coming back here to get more food.
Just moved to the area from Nassau, let me tell you I will be coming back here over and over! I work in a deli in Nassau as well and I know what good food and service is. We received both plus fair prices. The young man behind the counter was so helpful and friendly and the place was neat and clean. We ordered the J's #2 Box which was Eggs, meat, half order French toast, home fries and a small coffee. The food was amazing and hot. I can't wait to come back and try other menu items!
Reliable deli. There are many delis to choose from in the area but I always go back here. I've been here about a thousand times in the past 5 years and was never disappointed.
As a west Babylonian, I've tried the bagel shops in the area. I've come to the conclusion that grandpa j's is the best. I feel like the employees make the breakfast sandwich exactly as requested. I order well done eggs, and they come well done. Other places in the area make them medium at best. I will be back. Their food is excellent
Best bagel spot nearby. Bagels are quality, staff is always the friendliest, and our orders are always right. I only wish they had a little more variety in their food options, but they are a small place. We've now been to every bagel spot around our house since we moved recently, and Grandpa J's is our favorite.
